Celebrating the duality of Indian crafts and techniques, Shubhra represents a newness
Over the years my fascination for vintage silver jewlleryand artefacts has transformed into a deep, unwavering love for the precious metal. In the process of collecting vintage silver jewellery I have been inspired to translate its beautiful artistry unto couture
When we look at silver we are instantly reminded of the beautiful full moon in all its radiant, luminous glory. It is this luminosity that inspires the collection
CRAFTSMANSHIP AND MATERIAL
OUR CRAFTS
Ektaar
A meticulous single-thread embroidery technique known for its fine, airy detailing. It creates subtle floral and paisley motifs with precision, adding a refined, lightweight finish to the garment.
KASAB
Kasab embroidery has its roots in the traditions of the Mughal courts, where metallic threadwork was used to adorn garments for royalty and nobility. Traditionally worked in gold and silver, it adds a rich shimmer and depth, making every garment feel like a jewel in motion.
The things that make their way into my works are an ode to everything that has inspired me. The most special of all these is silver.
