THE CHANAKYA
SCHOOL OF CRAFT

In 2016, JADE's parent company - CHANAKYA, a family run, leading
fine crafts' global atelier, established a foundation and a non-profit school
of craft dedicated to craft, culture and women’s empowerment. Today,
the school had educated hundreds of women giving them autonomy
over their lives and their future.

Rewriting the rules of a male-dominated industry: Chanakya School
of Craft is the first of its kind, to empower women from less
privileged, tribal backgrounds and communities and help them
transform their lives and their community through art.

The vision of The Chanakya Foundation, focuses on an all-round development through education, skill development & women’s empowerment while investing in the preservation of our heritage & promotion of the arts.

MISSION

Our mission is to provide women from low-income communities with high-quality education in hand embroidery & craftsmanship, enabling them to maximize their potential and enhance their lives.
